Our Story
Sunshine Home Health Care was founded in 1989 in order to help address the growing need of the community to provide assistance for people in order for them to remain in the comfort of their own homes. Sunshine Home Health Care is a Home Health Agency licensed by the Indiana State Department of Health. Sunshine Home Health Care is certified through the Federal Government to provide Medicaid services.
In 1999 Sunshine Home Care Services was created as a sister company to Sunshine Home Health Care. Sunshine Home Care Services is a Personal Service Agency licensed by the Indiana State Department of Health. Sunshine Home Care Services helped fill the need for people that needed some attendant and homemaking services to help them stay in their homes, but did not need the higher skill level of Sunshine Home Health Care. Sunshine Home Care Services is contracted with Aging and In-Home Services to provide Medicaid Waiver, Choice, SSBG, and Title III services.
Sunshine Home Health Care and Sunshine Home Care services work together in order to provide quality care to their clients in order for them to remain in their homes. It is Sunshine’s mission to provide excellent care to all clients, as if they were a member of our own family.
Sunshine works with each client, client’s physicians, and client’s other caregivers to continually develop a plan of care that best suits each client’s needs. Through regular comprehensive assessments by the RN Case Managers and supervisory visits of all staff members, Sunshine involves the client’s in the decision making process so not only do the client’s get the care they need, but they also get the type of care they want.
